Our La Joya room, the "jewel" of the house, is located upstairs in the middle of the house. It gets its name from the rich jewel tone decor and beautiful plush upholstered teal bed. After a long day at the beach or exploring the city you will rest comfortably in your luxury bedding and quiet room. Casa de Hernandez is located in the heart of historic and vibrant downtown St. Augustine, just steps away from many attractions including The Fort, St. George Street, and much more!
During operating hours (typically 9-4) someone will be onsite doing basic maintenance and housekeeping. Otherwise, hosts are available via app, text or phone call. Sometimes we do stay on-site in one of the rooms.
Quiet neighborhood steps away from all the fun, shopping and entertainment of downtown St Augustine. The neighbors are very friendly and the streets are safe and well lit.
There are a number of rental companies around us: scooters, side by sides, bicycles etc. Most people walk to local attractions as we are very close to downtown. Parking isn't always easy so best to stay parked if you get a good spot.
